Summer's End

Here are just a few pictures to wrap up our summer. We have had a good time :)

Mark got some tickets to a Casper Ghosts Semi-pro Baseball game. Who knew she would like baseball?

She fell on her chin earlier that night. Her first battle scar!

She had a great time, it was getting late here. :)

She had one player that she always cheered for and would dance to his intro song. I could never catch her dancing but she just loved him!

This was a mascot race. He is racing a little girl you can see in the center left of the picture. Carylon started crying and pointing. We don't think she liked the idea of that little girl being chased. Such a tender heart. :)

The look on her face as she sees the pool!

We sat here and played for the better part of an hour at least!

We got her to do this on command haha!! Too cute!

NEW BABY!!

Well as some of you may already know via facebook, Mark and I are expecting our second child in January 2012! I am super excited but of course a little nervous and overwhelmed! This baby was not at all planned but is a great and marvelous blessing none the less! We discovered our new adventure had embarked on Mother's Day earlier this year and I wasn't sure whether to cry or jump for joy. So we did both! We then were able to have our gender determination ultrasound on Labor Day weekend when our cousins from Utah, who are also expecting their second child, came for a visit. From the moment we found out we were expecting I would have sworn up and down that this one was a boy! I was so confident! Well the ultrasound told us quite clearly we were having another girl! I was thrilled, suprised, but thrilled! I am so excited for Carylon to have a little sister to play with. Carylon will be 20 months or so when baby girl gets here so we are in for a serious adventure for sure! But it will all be worth it and a blast to boot.

This weekend we came down to Utah to go through the temple with Mark's brother before he leaves on his mission next month. While we were down here we went with our cousins to a beautiful little village in the area and were able to get some great pictures of our family and some maternity pictures. We are truly blessed!

Her long legs and clear proof she is a girl! :)

Five perfect fingers!

Idn't she cute??

Cousins!

She was being such a goob for this picture!

You can't really see the bump in this one but trust me, it is there! :)

~End Of Summer~

Well I figured with summer winding down to a close I had better update the blog one more time before the busy fall/Holiday season really sets in without me knowing and I manage to lose all track of mind altogether! OOOPS! I mean "time" but I suppose I will my mind in the process! :) I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the blog expecting to need to update a lot more than I do. I must have managed to forget that I already updated most of our summer so far! YAY ME!! :)

We had a great 4th of July holiday weekend at my parents house and Carylon loved her first parade and she even got to hold her own sparkler! Unfortunately I managed to come down with a nasty cold that was planning on sticking around for the long haul and it really wiped me out for about a week and I had a cough that only just went away  about two weeks ago! Just in time for my wonderful trip to Phoenix with my mom! We had a blast! But it was SOOO HOT!!! And humid seeing as they are in the middle of monsoon season, but IT DOESN'T ACTUALLY RAIN IN THE DESERT! It just gets really cloudy and tries to rain but since it is so hot, the rain actually evaporates before it can hit the ground! Talk about a muggy yucky stick!

Here are a few pictures from our recent adventures! :)

Just having a grand ole time in the back yard.

Playing at the park with daddy!

Our church had a community pig roast. They even had a pinata that Carylon got to hit... with dad's help.

This is at Campbell County Fair during the pig show. These two were great friends that day! :)

But this was Carylon's bestest good friend all weekend! She loved this little goat and s/he was pretty fond of Carylon too! :)

This was a dance group that Carylon fell in love with. She was dancing with them from the sidelines during their entire performance! Too cute!

Mom and I with Curt and Karen Waisath in Phoenix! Wonderful people!

We had a family camp out the day I got home from Phoenix. Carylon had a BLAST!

Just a couple days ago Mark wanted to pull out the sprinkler... Carylon wasn't too sure about at first.

But she warmed up after watching dad a few times :)

She would still rather splash and play in the spigot though.

That is our summer so far! For the rest of this month we are looking forward to Mark's brother coming and staying with us before he leaves on his mission and Mark's cousin and her adorable family are coming to stay during Labor Day weekend! Then at the end of September we get to make a trek down to Utah for Mark's brothers trip through the temple before leaving for Mexico! Good Luck Nate!!

Summer Fun!

With July 4th weekend upon us, I figured I better fill in some gaps from our summer so far.  We have had a great time so far so I will just post some pictures of our "Summer Fun"! :)

Mom and Carylon decided to finger paint. That was a fun messy day :)

Dad is checking out his Anniversary/Father's Day present!

The master chef making mom and dad's anniversary dinner! Filet Mignon! YUMMY!!!

This is the plate before the salad made it in :)

Splish Splash!!

Headed to Granny and Grandpa's House for the weekend. VROOM VROOM!!

While Carylon was at Laci's parents house Mark and Laci decided to take a drive to the Pathfinder Reservoir. It is currently overflowing and there is a gorgeous waterfall!

 Pelican!

Swimming at Cousin Ammon's birthday party. She didn't quite know what to think of it just yet...

She did like his John Deere Truck though!!

And she warmed up to the idea soon enough :)

Especially just as all the other kids were getting out! Silly girl!

We took a Sunday picnic up Casper Mountain. It was beautiful and green... and then it started to rain so we climbed in the car and read scriptures. What a great Sunday!!!

On the way down we went over and found the waterfall off the base of the mountain. Gorgeous!!

That is our summer so far! Fun filled and perfect! Have a great summer all!!
